Ozark Motor Lines case study
Turning a driver's first look into an application
Drivers size up carriers on their phones, and Ozark Motor Lines needed them to apply. We built a recruiting site that sells the company and keeps the application in reach, then took on the corporate site and SEO.

The problem
Ozark Motor Lines needed more drivers, and drivers have plenty of carriers to choose from. The old website wasn’t helping recruit them. Ozark wanted a site that showed drivers what the company is really like, made applying easy and showed up when drivers searched for jobs.
What we did
We built a mobile-first recruiting site in WordPress that keeps the application and contact area on screen the whole time. The look comes from Ozark’s own history: classic-truck illustrations, road-sign touches and a Hot Rod Red and Cool Seafoam Teal palette, filled out with photos of its rigs, custom icons and testimonials from its drivers.
Then the work grew. We redesigned the corporate site for shippers and everyone else, and took on SEO and content for both. Drivers get a site built for them, and the corporate site no longer has to do two jobs.
What changed
When SEO started, Ozark ranked on Google’s first page for about 11 keywords. That grew to 121, and organic traffic rose about 57% over the same months a year earlier.
I love how easy LAB Digital Creative is to talk to. They don't throw out technical terms people don't understand.
